$20,000 in grants will be made available to projects aimed at improving the wellbeing of LGBTI people living with a disability in Australia.
Lesbians Inc has awarded 15 grants for queer women’s projects.
“This is the largest pool of funds GLOBE has been able to reinvest back into our vibrant and diverse community.”
Recipients of the grants received up to $10,000 with the aim of supporting the work of not-for-profit community organisations, charities, and individuals.
Volunteers, business leaders, sports people, researchers, and community groups all make up the list of incredible finalists for this year’s GLOBE Community Awards.
President David Micallef said the 2017 GLOBE Community Grants are the largest to date.

The IDAHOT grants program is in its fifth year of providing support.
