More than a year after the first reports of Chechnya’s ‘gay purge’, most of the men taken by authorities have still not been found and are feared to be imprisoned or dead.
Missing since August, the singer is feared to be a victim of the gay purge that Chechnya’s officials continue to deny.
He was reportedly detained and abused for two weeks.
