“I was actually genuinely very surprised that I won Entertainer of the Year because I have won it before, I just thought I’ve had my time in the sun. I’m very humbled the showgirls thought I was deserving.”
Candy’s first drag award was for ‘Bitch of the Year’ in 2004.
This year the winners will be decided by a secret ballot of drag queens and showgirls, along with past award winners.
