Australian icon Carlotta and former David Jones CEO Paul Zahra have been announced as champions of the upcoming Midsumma Festival in Melbourne.

This month the Star Observer’s regular spotlight on community champions falls on Rowland Thomson and Crusader Hillis, whose Hares and Hyenas store has become an icon for Melbourne’s LGBTI community. Matthew Wade reports.
