Rugby Australia and NSW Rugby Union yesterday indicated they would terminate Folau’s contract, having been unable to contact the player for over 24 hours.
A Qantas spokesperson said Folau’s comments “are really disappointing and clearly don’t reflect the spirit of inclusion and diversity that we support.”
