The conferences will feature LGBTI speakers discussing trauma and healing, bullying, and youth and LGBTI inclusion.
The float will be led by a Captain Cook costume that was worn by the late Malcolm Cole in the original 1988 float 30 years ago.
The new flag will help recognise Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and non Anglo-Saxon people in the state’s LGBTI community.
