(5) THE HORIZON: Season 1 – “Flying High”
In this episode, Jake finds solace at the local gay club with Wilma Bumhurt, the drag queen he met in episode one. Pulling out a bag of ‘magic beans’ Wilma soon has Jake dancing up a storm and having the time of his life, until AJ makes a shock appearance on the dance floor!
This web series is a good example of branded Content, sponsored by ACON and Manhunt and produced by Tim Duggan’s (Fagtag, DTPM, Disgraceland) popular website www.samesame.com.au and was launched at a popular Oxford Street nightclub by Australian Idol’s Courtney Act in October of this year.
This series will join the popular gay themed web soap opera, Table Of Choices as an artistic expression of gay culture on Youtube. I hope you enjoy our work : )
Support the Star Observer… while you still can
LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.
When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.
Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
