Chopper shows colourful collection
Notorious Melbourne former underworld figure, now artist and writer, Mark ‘Chopper’ Read is showing his latest collection of works in an unlikely exhibition space.
Read (left) has teamed up with Nathan Pooley (right) from ‘boutique bordello’ Cromwell Manor, Collingwood to show works depicting some of Melbourne’s infamous characters and a portrait of outlaw Ned Kelly as a “prancing ‘Muscle Mary’ ”.
