PAUL GOODYEAR

I’ve been DJing now for 21 years and have just moved to London, but I will be coming back to do a very energetic and percussive set at Sleaze Ball 2006. Even though it will be up-tempo it will still be sleazy and fairly dark. You will be hearing exclusive unreleased remixes and productions as well as some of the big tribal and progressive tracks of the moment. Please don’t expect any Top 40 pop in my set.

THE BOSS

Kristine W

This track has special meaning to me as I was asked to do a remix for Kristine W. I have done two different mixes, one being very US circuit-style and the other having more of a tough house feel. It is a cover of the Diana Ross disco classic from 1979. This is unreleased as of yet and I can’t wait to play it on the Hordern sound system.

THE CEILING 2006

Blancmange

This is a tribal bootleg I’ve done sampling the riff from Blancmange’s 1982 track Living On the Ceiling. It has a big-room tribal feel (a sound that I’m known for). Very appropriate for Sleaze.

AIN’T NO OTHER MAN

Christina Aguilera

This is a special tribal mix of this awesome track done by my good friend DJ Paulo from LA. It is unreleased and I have had many people asking about it. It’s up-tempo but with a very deep sleazy sound. Great voice and production -“ this rocks!

100%

Chus and Cebellos

Wow, this is the best tribal record that has come out this year, dark in its feel but full of great percussion, drums and energy. This never fails to lift the roof off of a club. It will be a peak-time Sleaze record.

FASHIONISTA

Jimmy James

This was given to me by a good friend as I hadn’t heard it before. It is so New York in its feel, with a spoken male vocal similar to one in The Door by Danny Tenaglia. Very sleazy, which would make it totally appropriate for Sleaze Ball.
