European Commission dissolved over gay comment
The European Union has been plunged into disarray after its incoming team of European commissioners was blocked by the European Parliament because one commissioner said homosexuality was a “sin”.
The incoming president of the Commission, Jos?anuel Dur?Barroso, was embarrassingly forced to withdraw his 25-member team after it became clear the parliament planned to vote it out before they even took office on 1 November.
