Review: Liza Minnelli anthology
For a performer with a career spanning more than four decades, a definitive Liza Minnelli anthology has always been hard to come by. While this two-disc collection doesn’t tick all boxes (where is Maybe This Time? And why is Liza With A Z only included in instrumental form?), it comes pretty close. Most welcome alongside definitive ‘70s hits like Cabaret and New York, New York are six tracks from her 1989 Pet Shop Boys-produced masterpiece Results, including the hit single Losing My Mind and the camp ‘80s classic Don’t Drop Bombs.
