Bentstix Have A Go At Hockey Day is on Sunday, March 13 at the Kyeemagh Hockey Field and will be the club’s first official training session for the winter season. It’s the perfect opportunity for prospective new players to come along and have a go. With the Sydney winter hockey competition set to start on Saturday, March 26, the club is also calling for new players.
“We’re in need of some new blood this year,” said club secretary Charlie Lowe.
“A number of players have moved overseas and interstate since last season and we need to replace them. Players of all calibres are welcome and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before — we’ll teach you.”
