It’s cold, wet and windy outside, but SWEAT is here to help you shake off those winter blues as we steamroll toward the next party this Saturday night.
Eddie Coulter and Gavyn Vincze are back on board with some great new tracks for your listening pleasure. Joining them this month, and breaking his SWEAT cherry, is the awesome Ben Kelly.
Ben has performed at the premier nightspots across the country, holding down residencies in three states, in a career that has spanned more than a decade.
Ben’s not one to be bound by genres and has made a name for himself playing cutting-edge house music — from underground tech house and progressive through to driving electronic funk and back again to minimal techno.
In recent times Ben has taken a step back from the weekly trekking around the country to concentrate on studio production and has released remixes and original tracks on various respected dance labels such as One Love (sonyBMG), Hussle (MOS), Kingdom Come Kuts and Bam Bam, working with artists such as D.O.N.S, The Potbelleez & DBN.
Expect to hear the unexpected, and to get down and dirty to some massive house bombs dropped at just at the right time as Ben takes to the decks unleashing a vault of dancefloor weapons. No really. The UN is sending a team of weapons inspectors just in case. We’re that good!

info: SWEAT – Men, Music, Muscle is at Phoenix, 34 Oxford St, from 10pm on Saturday June 5. Entry: $10 before 11pm, $20 after.
