Aboriginal elder, respected actor, former drug addict and gay man — there are many sides to Jack Charles’ personality, and they’re all on display in Jack Charles v The Crown, an illuminating one-man show he’ll perform at the Belvoir from March 30 to April 17.
The magnetic performer, whose struggles with drugs and homelessness were outlined in the 2008 documentary Bastardy, will now deliver his moving life story direct to Sydney audiences.
