Country queers
Vincent Cornelisse and Jonathan Duffy made the big move from Brisbane to the inland Burnett two years ago and have filmed their adventures as part of a new documentary on their experiences moving from city to country.
Cornelisse took up a position as the only doctor in Mundubbera and Duffy has been filming along the way. Unsure of what reception they would receive in country Queensland, they are hoping the film encourages other people who are gay, lesbian or members of other minority groups to consider moving to the country.
The documentary – currently in postproduction, is set to be released in March next year.
