Low leather numbers
South Australia held its Mr Leather SA 2010 competition last month, with South Aussie, Mark Stephens taking home the title.
It’s been reported, however, the event attracted a disappointing crowd and failed to raise money for charity due to weathering a loss of $1500.
The leather event is only in its second year, after a successful inaugural event last year which raised more than $3400 for the Red Ribbon Bobby Goldsmith Fund.
Organisers are asking for help to raise money to send Stephens to the Mr Leather Australia/New Zealand finals in Melbourne, now to be held in April.
