Linking Lesbians in Newcastle (LLINC) have moved venues for their weekly Sunday pool nights. These will now be held at the Mayfield Hotel. The next LLINC movie night is on Friday, September 24, 6.30pm at ACON Hunter, 129 Maitland Rd, Islington. All women are welcome. A new men’s group in Newcastle has just held its first social dinner. The group — yet to be named — is for GBT men over 30 to meet socially. It will meet fortnightly and will have quarterly education evenings. If you’re interested in coming to the group, contact Lisa or Cath at ACON on 4927 6808.

The Queer Collective at the University of Newcastle will be having Pride Week from 11 October. Events include BBQ, Crafternoon, a GenderFuck ball and workshops on consent, self-defence and BDSM.
