Brave screening of Bully

The Community Brave Foundation is hosting an advance screening of award-winning documentary Bully on August 22. Directed by Sundance and Emmy-award winning filmmaker Lee Hirsch, Bully looks deep into the issues surrounding bullying in America.

The screening will be hosted by Sydney journalist Shelly Horton. Guest speakers include media personalities Charlotte Dawson and Adam Williams. Horton, Dawson and Williams have all participated in the You’re Not Alone online video campaign, with each having sharing deeply personal stories regarding bullying and calling for volunteers for the Community Brave program.

Community Brave is a collaborative community project aimed at eradicating online bullying, homophobia, transphobia and youth suicide.

The screening will be held on Wednesday, August 22 at 6.45pm at Palace Verona (17 Oxford Street, Paddington).
