Cabaret crime capers

Cabaret crime capers

Before the characters of Sydney’s 1930s razor gangs come to the small screen in the new Underbelly series, they burst into life in a new cabaret production in Darlinghurst. Mum’s In: Stories from Razorhurst, written and performed by local cabaret vixen Vashti Hughes, is replete with bawdy ballads, historical footage, hysterical anecdotes, the occasional strip-tease and a well-stocked bootleg bar. It’s playing from June 11 – 18. info: Visit www.mumsin.com.au
