Courtney Act up for international gong
Australian drag diva Courtney Act – sometimes known as her alter-ego Shane Jenek – has been announced as one of the five finalists in Montreal’s annual Queer of the Year competition.
Originally from Sydney, the Australian Idol semi-finalist now lives in West Hollywood.
The Queer of the Year winner will be decided by public vote via Montreal Pride’s Facebook page and will be announced on August 19 during Montreal Pride’s closing ceremonies.
If Jenek wins, he’ll get $5,000 and a return trip to Montreal
