Stars gather for GLAAD awards

DesktopBetty White, Bill Clinton and Drew Barrymore were just some of the big names who attended Saturday night’s GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.

The awards pay tribute to “inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives”.

Days of Our Lives took out Outstanding Daily Drama on the night, while The New Normal received the award for best comedy series. The Perks of Being a Wallflower won outstanding film and American Horror Story: Asylum received the best TV mini-series.

Former US President Bill Clinton was awarded Advocate for Change.

Barrymore hosted the event and other high profile stars who attended included Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron.
