Aussie actor behind Maleficent’s Prince Phillip hints at bisexuality

IN a candid interview about his upcoming movie Son of a Gun, Australian actor Brenton Thwaites alluded that he is interested in both men and women.

When asked by entertainment website TheFIX what he looked for in a partner, Thwaites, who played Prince Phillip in Maleficent, casually replied: “Male or female?”

“Both,” the interviewer asked, to which Brenton replied: “They’re very different,” before mentioning peanut butter in the cupboard was a deal breaker.

You can watch the video of the interview here. (Skip to the six minute mark for the question.)

Starting his career on Home and Away, Thwaites has made his way to Hollywood to star in the telemovie remake of the Blue Lagoon and big screen movies like The Giver.

  1. If it’s a pretty face talking about anything remotely to do with sex its deemed a focus story.

I’m appalled with the Sydney Star Observer allowing jovial comments of rape to be published here – I don’t care what context it is being used. Rape is not a funny matter.
