Keeping fair health
The Victorian AIDS Council/Gay Men’s Health Centre will be out and about this weekend in the name of safer sex.
This Sunday, December 11 the organisation will be handing out its 2012 Staying Negative calendars at the Peel St Pride Fair.
The Staying Negative calendar showcases 12 stories from positive and negative gay and bisexual men, who share their life stories.
As well as featuring lots of topless men, the calendar features the birthdays of beloved gay icons, and marks important community events throughout the year.
The Peel St Pride Fair will be held from 2 – 8pm along Peel St in Collingwood and calendars will be handed out during this time.
Peel St will be temporarily closed between Smith and Wellington Sts on the day as part of Pride celebrations in the City of Yarra.
There will be entertainment stages, marquees and street vendors on the day, as well as the crowning of the King and Queen of Pride 2012.
