Lemons twist again
This month the organisers of Lemons with a Twist have a very special Mardi Gras Parade weekend kick-off party organised for Friday, March 2.
The biggest weekend on the LGBTQI calendar begins at Slide on Oxford St. Join the SGLBA for networking, socialising and a smashing start to your parade weekend.
Lemons is a monthly event organised by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association for members and guests. Now in it’s 13th year, Lemons provides professionals and businesswomen with the opportunity to meet and mingle with like-minded women. There are lucky door prizes, and our DJ will have you shufflin’ on the dancefloor when it’s time to clock off from the work week.
The fun begins at 6pm on March 2 with a complimentary drink for non-members arriving between 6pm and 7pm, and for SGLBA members arriving between 6pm and 9pm. All are welcome.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can
LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.
When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.
Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
