First major gay music label
In a first for a major music company, US giant Sony has announced plans for a gay-specific recording label.Music with a Twist will sign gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender artists who have broad appeal across all musical styles, Reuters reported.The label will also release compilations from singers who are already popular in the gay and lesbian community.Music with a Twist will be a joint effort between Sony and US group Wilderness Media & Entertainment, which is launching a national gay radio show this month.
