How to win grants
The City of Sydney is aiming to build the skills of community organisations by providing free governance training.
As part of its Connect Sydney program, it will hold a workshop on how to win grants on Monday, February 27, 9.30am-1pm, at Redfern Town Hall.
In the workshop, organisations will develop the tools to write successful submissions for any grant.
These include effectively presenting proposals; developing an organisational template; determining the best grants for a project; write proposals; tailoring proposals to multiple grantmakers; developing winning project plans and budgets; and meeting different requirements from different sources.
The workshop is also an opportunity for community organisations to network.
