It’s back to business for 2008. Refreshed and eager, ACON continues to tackle issues that affect our community as well as planning our events throughout the year and assisting others with theirs.
Mardi Gras will be fast upon us and ACON has produced a campaign with messages under the banner of Together We Can.
Together we can do many things for our health and wellbeing and by uniting in common causes and in valuing each other, we remain a strong and diverse community.
By attending as many events as possible we can support our regional GLBT groups who provide us with numerous options socially and educationally.
In the Hunter, Mardi Gras preparations are well under way for the Newcastle “Pash’n Bonker” float. Organisers are excited about this year’s theme and welcome as many participants to take part in this milestone 30th anniversary Mardi Gras Parade. Interested? Contact Andrew 0414 652 516 or email [email protected]
