What is Loki?

Michael Smith

A chihuahua/pug cross, or a chug as we call her.

Where did her name come from?

Paul Coghlan

The name Loki has references in Norse and Greek mythology to the god of mischief. Pretty apt really.

What’s the best thing about her?

Everything! From her wet black snout all the way to her curly tail. She also has such a distinct personality and attracts lots of attention wherever we go. She fits in with our lifestyle and goes pretty much everywhere with us.

And the best thing about being a pet owner?

No matter what your day has been like, as soon as you come home and see that wiggly tail, your heart just melts. She makes us laugh.

Any advice for queer would-be pet owners?

Definitely do it as it’s very rewarding. Though don’t underestimate the responsibility, especially with an indoor animal. You need to give them lots of your time.
