Mardi Gras names 2005 party DJs
Tribal favourite Sveta is one of 19 local, national and international DJs playing at this year’s Mardi Gras party.
Mardi Gras announced its line-up this week, scheduling Ryan Murphy, Les Smith (Brisbane), Shigeki and Paul Goodyear in the RHI Anthems room. DJ Josh (Adelaide) and 4 Strings (Rotterdam) are trancing out the Hordern, while Daniel Hannan, Richard Weiss and GI Jode will play funky house in the Dome.
Sveta will be joined by Neroli (Brisbane), Buck Naked and Feisty in Stage 11 and Chris Kenny, Stephen Blomfield and Calvin Wong are playing in the Fox and Lion Retro room.
Ken’s legend Seymour Butz, DJ Elroy and something called the Red Light Disco DJ Team (Melbourne) are playing in the mash/ breaks/ electro Marquee.
DJs were asked to submit a 60-minute demo and CV, judged by a volunteer listening panel.
