Sunday’s M.I.A. party cancelled
This Sunday’s planned M.I.A. party at MyHouse on Oxford St has sadly lived up to its name, with a last minute cancellation brought about by the venue’s sudden closure.
MyHouse management issued this brief statement about the cancellation, issued to M.I.A. organiser Johan Khoury:
“Due to compliance circumstances beyond our control associated with the building, the MyHouse Nightclub venue will not be able to hold your event this Easter Sunday. MyHouse nightclub apologizes for any inconveniences caused and look forward to holding further events in the near future.”
Khoury told the Star Observer that all M.I.A ticket holders had been issued an automatic full refund once he received the news yesterday. He is also offering M.I.A. ticket holders free entry to tomorrow night’s Good Friday eve Friction Underwear party at Nevermind – simply print your M.I.A ticket to present at the door.
