The fairest of them all

The fairest of them all

It doesn’t matter how much sunscreen I apply to my translucent body, it never seems enough. I was just one of the thousands of people who went down to the AIDS Trust’s 14th Sydney Food and Wine Fair on Saturday and what a day! It was heaven, even though I did get sunburnt between my boobs, which makes my man-boobs look even bigger every time I have my shirt off. Which, as you can imagine, is a lot!

I was lucky enough to co-host the Breville stage with charity legend Ms Claire de Lune. It was my second year on the stage and to be honest, it just seems to be getting better, though I did feel a bit like a caged lion with all of the gorgeous food and wine passing me that I was unable to eat.
Now as I have briefly touched on before, when it comes to star-fuckers I think the only one bigger than me is Penny Tration. I just love it! Well with the amount of celebrities that came up on stage to do cooking demonstrations, I was like a pig in shit (so to speak)! We had Maria Venuti demonstrating a coffee machine and Lord Mayor Clover Moore did a cooking demo. And don’t even get me started on the fabulous singers we had, like Sylvanna, Kath and Kim, Naomi and my favourite diva, Shauna Jensen. I think the Breville stage is slowly becoming more popular than the main stage.
Claire and myself were also very privileged to have the star of Home and Away and Dancing With The Stars perform for us not once but four times. Bec Cartwright burned up the stage with her drop-dead gorgeous dance partner Michael. They are both representing the AIDS Trust for the show and every time you vote not only does it give them more of a chance to stay but all the money raised goes directly to the Trust. Vote for Bec and Michael by either calling 1902 555 011 or SMS Bec to 19 11 77. Now I know that most of my readers realise how fickle I am, but once again I have fallen in love, and this time it is for Michael. Bec is fabulous but Michael is divine!

What a day. The fair was a huge success and I have found the new love of my life. I can’t wait for next year!

EyeSpy New to Beat FM are the shows Driving Miss Daisy (Thurs 2-4pm) and On The Lounge With The Fat Chick (Tues 2-4pm). And you thought the Beat couldn’t get any better!
