Lord Mayor Robert Doyle took to the steps of Flinders St station with some of Melbourne’s drag kings and queens on Tuesday morning.
No, Doyle wasn’t busking for small change — he was launching the Midsumma Festival.
The fun kicks off this weekend with the Midsumma Carnival, and finishes on February 7 with Pride March.
