Registrations are now open for the 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames in Wellington, New Zealand.

Organisers have reported a steady flow of applications for sports events and the human rights conference already.

The pricing for all sports events has also been announced, with fees starting from $NZ45 ($AUD36 approx). For the sports competitions which run over three days and use large venues, none of the earlybird fees is more than $NZ100 ($AUD80).

“This is great value for an event drawing international competitors,” Outgames co-chair David Hindley said.  “For sports such as tennis, our fee is cheaper than if you were to book at the tennis venue yourself to play over three days.”

Interested participants won’t have to sign up for a sports event or the conference in order to take part in the opening ceremony — they’ll just need to sign up for the base registration fee of $NZ59.

The conference has its own earlybird fee structure which goes through to the end of November, closer to when the full conference program and speaker list will be published.
