Seniors Week offers plenty to do

NSW Seniors Week runs March 18 – 25 with more than 900 events.
Afternoon Delight is a free presentation of LGBTI-themed films on March 25, 1.30-5.30pm, at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre, 37 Reservoir St, Surry Hills. The afternoon is presented by ACON in association with Queer Screen.

Other events include the Glamma Rays and Maria Venuti, hosted by Trevor Ashley, on March 21, 10.30am-2pm at Parramatta’s Riverside Theatre, and the Young at Heart Film Festival which includes a screening of Cabaret starring Liza Minnelli at the Dendy Opera Quays cinema on March 22 at 10am.

Outside Sydney there’s the camp Dora Fay Davenport Show at Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club at 175 Imlay St, Eden on March 24, 2.30-4pm. Kurri Kurri’s Rotary Park will host the Nostalgia Festival: Famous ’50s Showcase on March 24, 11.30am-12.30pm.
