Something About You – Nick Jay ft. Melissa Tkautz
Can you believe it’s been 20 years since the release of that Oz-pop classic, Melissa Tkautz’s Read My Lips? At 37, Tkautz still pops up every now and then in the music scene, and her (predominantly gay) fan base should enjoy this latest on-off single release, a collaboration with queer DJ/producer Nick Jay. Tkautz has never had the strongest of voices, but she sounds great on this enjoyably repetitive club track, which comes with more than a dozen remixes to tickle any dancefloor fancy. It’s out now through Lost Knowledge Music.
