Team Sydney’s Sports Day Out will be held on Sunday, October 9, 11am-4pm at Sydney Boys High.

All Team Sydney member clubs are invited to participate in the event, which will be a fun, social opportunity for members of the wider LGBTI community to find information on gay sporting groups that pique their interest.

Gay and lesbian sporting groups can showcase their sport or activity and attract new members. For most clubs this will be a direct presentation and involvement on the day (such as running, tennis, volleyball, dancing).

For a few clubs (such as sailing), the facilities are not available on site for participatory activities. These clubs are encouraged to display information and have members on hand to answer questions.

Field sports and activities including soccer, softball, rugby and running will be based at Moore Park’s playing fields, while volleyball, badminton, dancing, basketball and other sports will be on the school grounds. There will also be live music and food stalls.

Team Sydney members, dressed in club uniform, should meet at Sydney Boys High School on Cleveland St from 11am.
