Kick off for spring

Kick off for spring

The Gay and Lesbian Martial Arts academy will kick off (no pun intended) a new spring season of kickboxing and self-defence on Thursday, October 13. Classes will be held each week at the Erskineville Town Hall from 6-7pm, under the able instruction of teacher Penny Gulliver. Classes are designed with fitness, safety, fun and confidence-building in mind. It’s only $78 for six weeks, and if you bring three friends with you, your session is free.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can

LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.

When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.

Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
