Aussie electro duo Garcon Garcon’s early demos showed a lot of promise, and they’ve pulled out all the stops for this, their debut single proper — it’s a stunning dance floor weepie that’s just as good as recent offerings from Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun and other homegrown dance acts.
From frontman Nathan Mahon’s yearning vocals to keyboardist Nick Tsirimokos’ cascading wall of synths, it all works perfectly.
The queer crowd’s already on board with these two, but mainstream success surely awaits. Bring on the album, boys — and soon.
