The Sydney Roller Derby League (SRDL) will take on the Newcastle Roller League on Saturday, November 28. Tagged The Coal Miner’s Slaughter, the tournament will be held at Sydney Boys High and kicks off at 7pm.
“The derby girls of Sydney are ready to lace up their skates and take on the girls of Newcastle. The game will be played on Sydney’s own turf,” SRDL spokeswoman Miss Biff said. “This will be the first time Sydney takes on another league in front of their home crowd.”
SRDL’s last bout for 2009 will be held on Saturday, December 12 at Sydney Boys High.
