“Heated Rivalry” star Connor Storrie is in talks to play a Marvel villain opposite Ryan Gosling in the franchise’s “Ghost Rider” movie, according to Variety.

The film, set to be directed by Shawn Levy, has onboarded Screenwriter Jonathan Tropper, with the cinematographer behind  “Dune: Part Three”, Linus Sandgren, reportedly signed onto the project as director of photography.

While casting has yet to be announced, the film, scheduled for theatrical release in 2028, would be an enormous career leap for Storrie.

Connor Storrie’s Meteoric Rise To Fame

Prior to attaining global recognition for his breakout role as Ilya Rozanov in the gay sports romance series Heated Rivalry, Storrie had been working paycheck to paycheck as a waiter at Laurel Grill in Culver City.

“I did a f–king bad job,” Storrie told Variety. “I dropped the ball, so I got another bad review. My boss sat me down, being like, ‘This is not acceptable. This is a final warning. If anything like this ever happens again, you’re out.’”

As the story goes, just minutes later Storrie’s agent called to reveal the Texas-born actor had been cast as Ilya Rozanov.

Since becoming an overnight international sensation for his stoic, sexy portrayal of the Russian ice hockey player, Storrie has guest hosted “Saturday Night Live”, for which he earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination; served as a 2026 Olympic torchbearer; and landed a supporting role opposite Billie Eilish in Sarah Polley’s “The Bell Jar”.

Connor Storrie Currently Filming Heated Rivalry Season 2

Now Storrie is filming the highly-anticipated second season of “Heated Rivalry”, returning beside co-star Hudson Williams alongside a host of new cast members. According to author Rachel Reid, Season two of the show will adapt events from both the fifth and sixth book in her “Game Changers” series, the same series Heated Rivalry’s first season was adapted from.

Another returning staple is series writer and creator, Jacon Tierney. Under Tierney’s direction, Season two is expected to retain the same boldness that made Season one too heartrending for PornHub and too salacious for Hollywood.
