Uncovering the mysteries
Catch Sydney Theatre Company’s The Mysteries: Genesis at Wharf 2 until Saturday, December 19. A new version by playwrights Hilary Bell and Lally Katz, the show reflects the theatrical origins of the medieval mystery plays as popular spectacles produced by tradesmen’s guilds. The playwrights have taken stories from the first nine chapters of the Bible.
