Wild Energy 2011 – Central Station
Sixty-three hi-NRG dance mixes on three CDs are enough to give anyone a seizure, so we suggest you don’t attempt to listen to this latest Central Station collaboration in one sitting. Take your time and you’ll find plenty of treats amongst the heavy beats: Alex Gaudino’s euphoric I’m In Love, Tune In Tokyo’s punky Dreamer and Martin Solveig’s Hello among them. Plus Weekend Warriors offer up a smattering of remixed pop hits including Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair and Katy Perry’s Firework.
