“Sweet dreams are made of these…” Congratulations to the CoastOut crew following their fabulous fundraising dance Sweet Dreams held earlier this month.

Out n Hastings, Port Macquarie’s LGBTIQ social group, will host a winter social dance on June 15 at TG’s in Port Macquarie. All the fun starts at 7pm and will go through till midnight so go along and support the group and its new committee. You can also check out the Out N Hastings Calendar for more future events.
United Flag Social Club Dance and Drag Show will be held on July 21 at Boambee East Community Centre, 7pm – midnight. Tickets are $20, with concession and pre-paid tickets going for only $15.

Rainbow Coffs Harbour has also been very busy organising outings such as trivia nights, drink nights and outings to local markets. At the time of writing, the organisers had just been to a planning meeting to work out some events for the coming months, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for their listings of upcoming happenings.
The other thing to start thinking about is NAIDOC Week which falls on the first week of July. Each year several events are held around NAIDOC including flag-raising ceremonies, forums, community stalls, and family fun days. If you can make it along to one of these events, or even better get involved in some way, it would be a great way to show your support.
