NYE Heaven dance cancelled

The New Year’s Eve edition of Northmead’s regular Heaven social dance has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Ticket holders will be able to use their tickets to gain entry to any Heaven social dance in 2012 or exchange them for a refund from organiser Beverly Buttercup.

The party was to have been held at the Northmead Bowling Club on December 31.

SMS 0430 754 640 or email heavenparramatta@hotmail.com to get in touch with Buttercup.

The next Heaven social dance will be on February 25, followed by another party on April 21.

The event will celebrate its fifth birthday on June 30 with a special charity edition benefiting ACON, followed by parties on August 23 and October 27, with next year’s New Year’s Eve event still to be confirmed.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can

LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.

When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.

Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
