First born as the Art Series Hotel, The Cullen was voted the second-trendiest hotel in the world by TripAdvisor’s travellers.
The Travellers Choice Award is determined by ratings from the hotel’s guests and demonstrates genuine market feedback.
Cullen general manager Josh O’Brien said he and his team were proud of the award.
“The fact this award has come from the travellers themselves is the best accolade,” he said. “It’s those who have stayed and experienced The Cullen we love to hear from and look forward to welcoming back.
“Thanks must go to The Cullen staff who bring an abundance of life and attitude to our hotel.”
These words were echoed by the hotel’s head of marketing, brand and innovation, Emma Beattie.
“We’re jumping for joy to hear people have had such unique and inspired experiences at The Cullen,” she said.
“Seriously cool stuff knowing guests love staying with us and they want to share their experience with others. We really value this.
“Adam Cullen’s artwork provides a dynamic and exciting environment and The Cullen team truly live our brand values. This reflects in our guest experience. It’s an encouraging start to 2011.”
Sitting boldly on Commercial Rd, Prahran, The Cullen is inspired by and dedicated to contemporary artist Adam Cullen.
It features lashings of original artwork and prints. Edgy, bold, courageous, The Cullen is an ideal place to experience a stay that’s a little extraordinary and discover eclectic Prahran and bohemian Windsor and shop your way along Chapel St to South Yarra.
