Know thine enemy
Those lovable closet-cases at the godhatesfags.com website are pursuing a new strategy to spread their homophobic message: a postcard that has been mailed out to seemingly everybody from the president of the USA to us here at Sydney Star Observer. As you’d expect, it’s brim-full of hate, but surprisingly, we no longer seem to be at the top of the Most Despised list: that honour goes to such Fag Enablers as George and Laura Bush.
George W and Laura are certifiable fag pimps! rants the postcard’s flipside blurb. These workers of iniquity hate God’s word and continually seek to pervert it. Not driven merely by lust, these men-pleasers worship and serve the creature more than the creator, are worse than fags and worthy of death!
Of course this kind of garbage is beneath the dignity of a reply, but we at the Star were amused at the response of the Honolulu Star Bulletin. In a recent editorial, titled Stop Protesting, Start Surfing, the paper railed against the godhatesfags.com homophobes, who also recently held a conference in Hawaii.
These mean-spirited ayatollahs -¦ should hit the beach, the editorialist wrote. Hear some tunes. See the sights. Buy a colorful shirt. Get a tan. Have a drink garnished with a paper umbrella. Stop living in fear of other people’s genitals.
