These awards included Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his breakthrough song Stay With Me, as well as Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for his debut LP In the Lonely Hour.
Smith, who first caught global attention when he featured on Disclosure’s Latch in 2012, publicly came out as gay last year.

Meanwhile, a quick mention of 56-year-old singer and gay icon Madonna who, while walking the red carpet, “mooned” onlookers in her custom-made matador outfit.
Later in the evening, the Queen of Pop performed her latest single, Living for Love:
Sam Smith is set to tour Australia in April.
Sorry, I don’t like him. I can’t stand him. A very big show pony. I couldn’t give a flying fuck if he’s gay and won an award. Loose weight hun!
I love his voice well done
I love his music, and I happy he won four Grammys. I’m not really sure how his sexual life relates to his achievements.
Madonna?! Annie Lennox tore it up with amazing vocals!,
