Betty Grumble is the larger-than-life alter ego of Sydney performance artist Emma Maye Gibson. Grumble, a former child pageant star, beauty queen and now burlesque heroine, has gained a popular following in the underground queer/variety performance world in recent months and is also a finalist in Miss Burlesque Australia, competing in the NSW heats on May 28 at the Factory Theatre.
