Entries for the DJ Spin-Off competition for this year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival will close on Friday January 29.
The four best girl and boy submissions will allow those DJs to go to the next round and play live in the finals at the Supper Club on Saturday February 20.
The two winners will play a set at the Mardi Gras Party on Saturday March 6.
“Since winning the comp, so many doors have opened for me. I managed to secure five residencies in my first year. I’ve also had the chance to be part of some amazing line-ups,” 2009 competition winner Brett Austin said.
“For 2010’s competition entrants, I wish them all the very best of luck, have fun and don’t take it too seriously!”
Entries must be on CD and include a completed application form that can be downloaded from the New Mardi Gras website.
info: Entries must be received at the New Mardi Gras office by 5pm on Friday January 29.  Further information visit www.mardigras.org.au/djcomp
