Glam line-up for Glamstand
Glamstand is back in 2012 with a star-studded line-up including Tim Campbell, DJ Kate Monroe, Vanessa Wagner, Superjesus singer Sarah McLeod and ’70s pop sensation Leo Sayer, with more special guests and performers still to be announced.
“I can’t wait to have fun with Kate and Vanessa, and share a great night of celebration with all the floats,” Campbell said. “I may possibly be the most clothed person on the night.”
“I’m thrilled to again be involved in Glamstand as one of the hosts and commentators,” Wagner said. “It really is the night of nights on the world festival calendar and where better to experience it!”
Sayer said he loved the Sydney Mardi Gras.
“It’s just so Sydney – brash, loud, colourful and outrageous – and Glamstand 2012 is going to go off!” Sayer said.
“I’m thrilled to have been invited and really looking forward to performing for the Glamstand crowd.
“I’ll put a thunder in the audience’s hearts and make everyone feel like dancing.”
Ticket options include Glambar, Platinum seating right on the parade route, and Gold and Silver grandstand seating.
